House Health Committee unanimously passes H.R. 625
Yesterday, the House Health Committee unanimously passed House Resolution 625, which would direct the Joint State Government Commission to conduct a
study on the efforts of medical schools to promote primary care. Sponsored by Rep. Paul Schemel (R-Franklin), H.R. 625 now moves to the full House for consideration. Speak Out and ask your state representative to support H.R. 625 when it comes up for a vote.

Join us this autumn for the PAFP's Virtual CME Conference in cooperation with the UPMC Department of Family Medicine! What was originally planned to be held live in Pittsburgh in November will now be our first-ever virtual event, Nov. 12-14. Project ECHO, AHEC partner on free CME series on telehealth, COVID-19
Penn State Project ECHO and the Pennsylvania Area Health Education Center (AHEC) are partnering to launch a no-cost CME-eligible ECHO series to equip primary care providers with telehealth care strategies to prevent, prepare for, and respond to the COVID-19 pandemic. The Pennsylvania AHEC Lessons Learned in Implementing Telehealth ECHO series will launch Sept. 9 from 4-5 p.m. One-hour sessions will take place every other week for six sessions.
