YOU CAN MAKE THIS HAPPEN
As a primary care physician, you are in a great position to help your patients quit smoking [1]. About 70 percent of smokers see a physician every year [2]; 70 percent also want to quit. Your advice to quit is a critical motivating factor for attempting to quit, and advice from a physician leads to a spontaneous quit rate of 2 to 4 percent [3].
