Speak out to expand Pennsylvania's primary care physician workforce
Call or email your state representative TODAY and ask them to cosponsor and support House Resolution 625, which would direct a study on the efforts of the state’s medical schools to promote primary care and accurately report the number of students who ultimately enter primary care. The
PAFP is committed to increasing the number of Pennsylvania’s medical school graduates who choose to practice family medicine over the course of the next decade.

November CME conference goes virtual
The PAFP’s November CME conference has gone virtual! After careful consideration, the decision was made to convert our planned live CME event scheduled for November in Pittsburgh to a virtual event. Please join us and UPMC’s Department of Family Medicine for the PAFP Virtual CME Conference, Nov. 12-15 for an extraordinary event which will still be interactive and will feature critical updates on COVID-19, pediatrics, lifestyle medicine, immunization, and much more. AAFP Foundation announces emergency relief available for free clinics
The AAFP Foundation’s Family Medicine Cares USA calls for applications for up to $25,000 funding for durable and non-durable medical equipment for free clinics serving areas of high need.
Eligibility criteria include:

Services are provided at no cost (100% free) to all patients.

Applying Family Physician Champion is a member of the AAFP.

Clinic is non-denominational and open to all members of the population and not a specific disease state.
