Legislation mandating PA DOH report bi-weekly on COVID-19 testing passed
Earlier this week, the General Assembly passed legislation that requires the Pennsylvania Department of Health to submit a report to the legislature every two weeks on the department’s testing of COVID-19. House Bill 2455 also requires the governor to share with the legislature the state’s COVID-19 testing plan that was submitted to the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services per the federally-enacted Paycheck Protection Program and Health Care Enhancement Act.
The Pennsylvania General Assembly needs to hear from you before they adjourn for the summer. The legislature may be considering a bill to provide important liability protections for health care providers and facilities, PPE manufacturers, and small businesses. Speak Out and tell your state Representative and Senator to support liability protections for the health care and business communities TODAY.
