Pa. IFO issues budget projection
On Nov. 15, the Pennsylvania Independent Fiscal Office (IFO) released its economic and budget outlook for 2018-19 and beyond. It does not assume potential economic activity, like recession, in its analysis. The report projects expenditures to increase by $2.7 billion in fiscal year 2019-20, roughly $1.7B more than projected net revenue. The governor presents his budget recommendations on Feb. 5, 2019.
