Election Day is Tuesday
On Tuesday, the polls open at 7 a.m. through 8 p.m. for what will be an extremely interesting election. At the state level, all 203 House seats and 25 of the 50 Senate seats are on the ballot. With many retirements in both chambers, there are battles ongoing for open seats, many incumbents reportedly face tough re-election challengers. National observers will be closely watching for the results of Pennsylvania’s congressional seats after the complicated process of establishing new congressional district lines. The Pennsylvania Department of State has been working with federal and state law enforcement to mitigate threats that could affect elections.
