Pennsylvania's voter demographics changing?
Under the radar, there have been several organized efforts to increase the number of registered voters in Pennsylvania – specifically younger voters. As of Aug. 27, the state now has 8.4 million registered voters: 4 million Democrats, 3.2 million Republicans, and nearly 1.2 million other or no affiliation. Interestingly, the percentage below 35 and over 65 years of age is now nearly equal, at 25 percent each. The year 2018 has so far seen over 100,000 newly registered voters with Oct. 9, the last day to register for the Nov. 6 election. Be sure to vote this November.
