Election season to bring changes of consequence to PAFP
Pennsylvania has the largest full-time legislature in the nation, with 253 representatives and senators, as well as one of the most active, having passed and seeing enacted 76 pieces of legislation so far in 2018.There are plenty of highly competitive races under way around the Commonwealth enhanced by nearly 30 retirements in the House and Senate. Given the number of committee chairs and legislative leaders leaving the General Assembly, post-election caucus elections and appointments will bring many changes of consequence for the PAFP. Citizens of Pennsylvania have until Oct. 9 to register to vote in the November election.
