Family medicine, Reading CME focus on opioid epidemic
The PAFP recently hosted family physicians from across Pennsylvania in Reading for three days of CME with a focus on the opioid abuse epidemic, including insight from medical leaders from the world-renowned Caron Treatment Centers. According to PAFP President Edward Zurad, MD, the PAFP is dedicated to further education on opioid abuse, alternative treatments, and caring for patients battling addiction.
