Patients sought to tell their prior auth stories
The PAFP is working alongside the Pennsylvania Medical Society (PAMED) and other physician organizations in search of patients who have stories of delayed care because of prior authorization decisions from insurers. Join the network of CHC MCOs
Community HealthChoices (CHC) is a new initiative that will increase opportunities for older Pennsylvanians and people with physical disabilities to remain in their homes. CHC will use managed care organizations (MCOs) to coordinate physical health care and long-term services and supports (LTSS). To provide services to CHC participants, providers will need to join the network(s) of CHC MCOs: AmeriHealth Caritas, Pa. Health and Wellness, and UPMC for You. A provider will still be required to enroll with DHS to be a Medical Assistance provider and receive a Medical Assistance Provider Number. Please click here for more information.
