'Speak Out' against nurse practitioner independence
The newly introduced Senate Bill 25 would eliminate the important patient safeguard of a required written collaborative agreement between a nurse practitioner (NP) and two physicians in Pennsylvania; a House version is also expected. Use the AAFP's Speak Out tool to tell your legislator to oppose this bill.
PAFP to use new member database; please notify of issues
Beginning March 31, 2017, the PAFP will be using a new member database to send direct emails to members. We anticipate a smooth transition, but we ask that you please notify us if you experience any issues by emailing pafp@pafp.com. Do not reply to this email as it may not reach us!
