|
|
The state legislature returns on Jan. 23. Here are some items PAFP will be focusing on: CRNP Independence; PAFP opposes legislation that would eliminate collaborative agreements. Sen. Camera Bartolotta (R-Washington) is planning to introduce a bill providing for independence. Credentialing Reform; PAFP supports legislation to standardize credentialing and set a 30-day limit for insurers to process an application or else grant provisional status. Health Committee Chair Matt Baker (R-Tioga) will be the prime sponsor. Prior Authorization Reform; PAFP supports legislation to standardize forms, definitions and enhance electronic communications. Rep. Marguerite Quinn (R-Bucks) will be the prime sponsor.
